FUNK & JUNK Furniture & Lighting has built an inventory of amazing salvaged materials. We take pride in the fact that we PERSONALLY create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces from mostly, if not all, reclaimed materials.
We personally go on picks ourselves all around the Lambertville, NJ area. When a piece is created, it is assembled in our studio and then brought into the store.
Everything can be CUSTOMIZED. Everything is UNIQUE. Every piece has a STORY.
What piece will you create with us?
"If you can imagine it, Gene and Kim can create it. If you struggle with creating from scratch, they'll painlessly guide you through. We're blown away by the truly unique things we've created -- and continue to create -- together. We can't wait to show off every single piece. What started as 2 light fixtures has blossomed into 4+ lights, an entry table, barn doors, the most awesome corbel lights for our covered porch and an off-the-hook table top. The best part of this experience is not just these one of a kind beauties we've made but the friendship and connection with Kim and Gene who are genuine-good people." ~ Christina F.

"I went in thinking I just wanted to buy some Annie Sloan paint, I left having purchased a gorgeous and unique table AND the paint! The owner, Kim, so sweet and funny, took me around the store, told me the very interesting history of how it came to be, and showed me some new paint techniques for my furniture project that will make it even more fabulous than I could have imagined. I met Gene, the totally funky and talented guy who makes the furniture they sell, and he gave me the history of the pieces that went into making the table that I bought. It's not often that you come across a store with such unique pieces that NOBODY else will have. When you buy from Kim and Gene you know they literally put their blood, sweat, and tears into everything they make and sell."

"I wondered into their Lambertville shop one day and asked for a fairly unusual side table for my dining room. They worked with me on the design and finished it right on time for my house warming party. Everyone loved it, including me. I would recommend stopping by and seeing if they can help you with a personalized, one of a kind piece. They were wonderful to work with."

"We really enjoyed looking at all of the amazing creations! Everything is so unique and the best part is whatever ideas you have just tell Kim because it can be done. "I came in last night for some Annie Sloan paint. I had already done a ton of research for my first project, but Kim was so knowledgable and was able to condense everything that I learned, even adding some helpful tips, all within ten minutes! Both she and her husband were so friendly, asking about my project and truly seeming interested in making sure I was set up for success. The best part was that I didn't feel like they were just trying to make a sale-they made sure I had everything that I needed, but also offered suggestions to make my projects cost effective. I am so glad Funk N Junk is my go-to Annie Sloan stockist!!!"

"This is my new "go-to" store in Lambertville. Great designs and beautiful, one-of-a-kind furnishings and decor. Owner Kim was super-helpful with all my paint questions and the Annie Sloan line they carry is so versatile (and hard to find!). A definite must when in Lambertville. My 10-year old was delighted with Kim's button stash and reported not even being bored during our hour-long visit today!"

"If urban distressed furniture speaks to you then this place is calling your name. Each one-of-a-kind piece has a story and a past life.
